Living in a Tour

This project is located in the Tour that had almost been delivered by Richard Meier on Rotschild Boulevard, Tel Aviv.

The main character here is undoubtedly the view and light that had to be highlighted.

The clients came to me having bought 2 apartments that had to be united in 1 spacious high end vacation apartment and completely remodeled. The project consisted of a big master suite, including a glass and marble dressing room, a marble open bathroom and a bedroom that could be open to the rest of the apartment when the couple would be staying there alone, wide reception spaces, a kitchen and 2 more bedrooms.

One of the bedrooms had to have its own access and be completely independent when needed as well as be included as a part of the apartment in order to be a guest apartment with its own kitchen and bathroom or to be rented.

The total surface is 210 sqm. Being in a Tour with its own logics, it came with quite a lot of constraints as for where the fluids were positioned, the AC units, or even having 2 Mamad rooms (shelter rooms). We decided to open one of them and reshape the layout in order to foster modularity and allow maximum natural light to enter and shape the space .
